Who we are

CHINA ALTS and Everseta are run by Everset Partners Limited, Hong Kong (“we”). We decide how the personal data described here is used. For any privacy question or request, write to access@eversetpartners.com.

What we collect and why

The CHINA ALTS Brief

When you subscribe, we collect your email address to send you the Brief and occasional invitations related to CHINA ALTS. You become a subscriber only after you confirm by clicking the link we email you. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. We may see whether an email was opened or a link in it was clicked, so we can tell what readers find useful.

Everseta access requests

When you request access, we collect your work email and, if you choose to give them, your organisation and a short note. We use them only to review and answer your request. A request is not an introduction: we do not share your details with anyone else because of it.

This website

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider records standard technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.

Subscribing to the Brief does not sign you up for marketing about any investment product or service, and we never sell your personal data.

Who processes it for us

We use Ghost to manage subscriptions and send the Brief, Vercel to host this website, Resend to deliver access requests to our inbox, and Microsoft for our email. Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Our team works from Hong Kong and mainland China and may access your data from there.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you are subscribed and remove it from our list when you unsubscribe. We keep access requests only as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to access@eversetpartners.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date above.
